Kapitel 100: 100: Men always prefer the new over the old (1)

Within just three days, Office No.12 was buzzing with energy, almost to the point of bursting at the seams.

As a result, Laura Lee grew colder towards Tara Summer, her face becoming stiffer and more unapproachable each time she saw her.

Tara Summer was puzzled and eventually asked the nurse who worked with her about it. Upon hearing Tara's question, the nurse immediately understood the problem.

"Doctor Summer, I think Doctor Lee might be jealous of you." The nurse blinked and looked around to make sure no one was near before continuing, "You wouldn't know, but before you arrived, Doctor Lee was considered the most beautiful woman in the hematology department. Now that everyone's attention has turned to you, she must be upset!"

"Really?" Tara Summer furrowed her brows, thinking back to their first meeting. Laura Lee's expression did seem strange. Although they had only exchanged a couple of glances, those looks did contain hostility.

Could that actually be the reason?!
