7.97% Taming A Priest: My bodyguard is a sly Demon / Chapter 11: 11- "V... vampire...?"

Kapitel 11: 11- "V... vampire...?"

"You'll be accompanying Alexandra to Hamish's mansion, she needs to get her body measurements." King Magnus hesitated for a second, "Mrs. Hamish would have arrived here herself, however, she isn't well and her assistant took a time off." King Magnus explained to Dominic as he settled on his throne with his eyes staring directly as spoke. His eyes showed how tired he was since he had an urgent lawsuit at hand.

Dominic only bowed his head in accord. His duties begin today and to be frank he wasn't looking forth to it. He wasn't a lad soul, specifically not to a bothersome lass. He tilted his head to the side and glanced at Alexandra who was sitting quietly. He had reckoned she would make a complaint against him since returned to her room late last night, although Simon was keeping a watch on her which she had no idea.

"You should probably take her there early, I heard Mrs. Hamish doesn't like disturbs when she starts working." King Magnus continued. He was glad he assigned a protector for Lexi, Katherine and Thomas wouldn't have been able to take her there since they were occupied. He knows Lexi wasn't satisfied with the guardian she accidentally chose but he knew he was the best. Growing up in the Temple of Priests was rare, and being able to reach such a level within a short time was extraordinary, so he was the best person he could think of to protect Lexi.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Said Dominic. Alexandra was already dressed which leaves him. He then walks to his room to get dressed.

"The Hamish household is a Mysterious place, on rare occasions whoever goes in never comes out," Simon reported the second he emerged from the wall. His words would have been alarming to other people but to Dominic, it was the time for adventure.

Dominic wore his shirt, covering his strong muscled chest and the V line that ran down his torso, he then completed his dressing by wearing a long coat. The weather wasn't friendly.

"I'll keep that in mind." That was all Dominic said as he walked out of his room leaving Simon who vanished a few seconds later.

He strolls outside with Alexandra by his side towards the packed Carriage, he is glad the carriage was already prepared. Taking Lexi's hand he walks her into the carriage following him.

The ride to Hamish's Household was smooth and was a little distant since it was inside the village. He looked out of the window and scrutinized the landscape and the bushes, the village was surrounded by a thick Forest. Nobody found it strange the village was surrounded by a thick Forest that refused to go down no matter how vastly it was slashed down or burnt.

After minutes of looking through the window, the coachman notified them of their destination's arrival. He climbed down holding Alexandra's hand, getting a child lost in a crowded village sounded exhausting to him. He walks towards Hamish's gate and knocks on it.

After a few minutes, the gate was opened by a young lady. Didn't King Magnus say her assistant wasn't around?

"Hello, you guys must be Dominic and Alexandra, I'm Amma, and I'm Mrs. Hamish's assistant." Amma introduced herself. She was all smiles but Dominic could see through her, the vicious excitement in her eyes didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Hello to you too." Alexandra timidly voiced out whilst Dominic bowed his head.

"Come on in," Amma announced as she widened the door, "Madame awaits you." Dominic and Alexandra followed her as they walked through the house entrance and then through the corridor to which they ascended the stairs to the second floor. Amma halted at a huge brown door and they also stopped. She knocks on the door twice and then turns to them.

"You can go in now, but just the girl. Mrs. Hamish doesn't like the presence of males." She said which earned a frown from Dominic, although he was calm inside he frowned to make him seem less suspicious. He looks at Alexandra whose eyes were also on him.

"I'll wait outside." He offered.

"No, you can stay downstairs while I serve you some refreshments. Plus, it will take some time." The devious glint in her eyes was very noticeable to him, yet he nodded at her and turn to Alexandra.

"I'll wait for you downstairs," he told her to which she nodded with little reluctance.

He was then walked downstairs by Amma.

"Please sit," The pleasant voice came from a woman not older than twenty-eight. Her jet-black hair ran down her shoulders to her back, and her black eyes coupled with her pale skin and rosy lips were alluring. But all that wasn't noticed by Alexandra. Her eyes were staring at the wall as she walked inside the room. The wall was painted red, bright red with a mixture of black at the edges. It was a strange view.

"Don't be afraid, it's just colors." But the look in her eyes spoke otherwise.

Alexandra nodded her head and walked in the direction of the seat the woman was pointing at.

"So... tell me about yourself." Mrs. Hamish said as she poured wine into a glass, a very dark shade of red wine. She took a sip and turned her gaze at her.

"I... erm...I mean.. shouldn't we just carry on with the measurements process, my escort is waiting downstairs, and I'd tell you he's quite an inpatient somebody." She tried to be polite but to Mrs. Hamish, she was being stubborn and disrespectful. But she hid her distaste and chuckled.

"Yeah, we should." was all Alexandra heard before she felt something pouring on her. She jerks up in fright but she couldn't move from her chair as her hands and feet automatically became bonded to the chair. She looks at Mrs. Hamish in turmoil and alarm but all she received back was taunting.

"Your blood has been so tempting for the past few days that I can hardly concentrate. I don't know what made your blood different but it's a good thing." If Alexandra was worried before then she's terrified now. She has heard stories of bloodsuckers and their carvings including how insatiable they are, and she's not ready to encounter one.

"V.... vampire?..." Her lips trembled and her eyes were wide. She couldn't move and her guard was waiting downstairs.

"What? hell no!" Mrs. Hamish chuckled as if finding it amusing, which wasn't, not to Alexandra.

"Y.. you said my b-blood has been tempting, only bloody people say that." She wanted to leave this place. The way Mrs. Hamish has been looking at her makes her feel goosebumps rising on her skin.

"What would you say having your blood painted against my walls? I bet you'd be excited." The looks in her eyes tell Alexandra it was more than just painting.

"Of course not just that, but I wouldn't spoil the fun." She remarked. She unhurriedly gets up from her chair and walks towards the side wall, she pressed her fingernail on the wall and the wall divided, creating a pathway to God-knows-where. And Mrs. Hamish brought out a boy, a boy the same age as her.

"Now this is fun."

"Here, some refreshments." Amma handed Dominic who gladly took the drink. He felt her eyes on him even when he wasn't looking at her, she wanted to watch him drink the wine and he did, drinking every drop.

"Are you feeling sleepy? You can lay down and rest, I'll wake you up once Alexandra gets down here." She offered but was politely rejected by Dominic. And she left.

He looked at the watch on his wrist, he could still feel her eyes on him, but he kept watching the minutes as it passed, and as it was exactly fifteen minutes everywhere became still. The water from the jug Amma was pouring into a cup halted. The curtains moving in the direction of the wind and stood still, including the cup he held in his hand had halted into space.

He gently stood up and ran his fingers on his coat, before he could move Simon appeared from behind him.

"True to your proficiency, she has a boy." He reported.

"What for?"

"He has the power of duplication, but one is an illusion. She's working with Xavier."

"Rare talent," Dominic commented. He picks up the glass of wine from thin air and takes a sip. "Under who?"

"He's on his own. He's an orphan wandering on his own and was manipulated by Mrs. Hamish."

"Take him to the temple, the priests can help him," Dominic instructed. He climbs the stairs to the second floor and stops in front of a familiar brown door. Without knocking he pushed the door open and entered. At first, he glanced at Alexandra who was also frozen, and then at Mrs. Hamish whose lips were apart like she was talking. Before he could stroll toward Alexandra something caught his eye. The young boy wasn't frozen like the rest of them, his eyes were following his every move. This brought a smile to his lips.

"Take him away." He ordered Simon, and Simon bowed. He walked towards the boy to take him but Dominic's voice stopped.

"Hold on a second," His warning voice made him step backward. Dominic strides forward and looks at the young boy. "This isn't him." He said and snapped his fingers together and true to his words the young boy disappeared. Dominic only chuckled more.

"I guess we just found who was using who."

Simon was still alarmed.

"Take Alexandra out of here, I'll handle the rest," Dominic instructed.

"What will I tell her?" Simon asked, anger still written on his face.

"Nothing. Compel her into believing she got her measurements taken, make sure nothing of what happened here remained in her memory." Hearing his instructions, Simon nodded. Peeling Alexandra from the strong bond of her chair, he vanished with her.

Dominic breathed in deeply and everything became normal.

Mrs. Hamish who had a smile on her lips while babbling earlier became alarmed seeing no one except a young boy with silver blonde hair.

"What happened?" She asked no one in specific as she stared across the room. The clatter of someone climbing the stairs hurriedly was heard and the door opened with full force.

"Madame he's-" Amma's words stopped when she saw Dominic.

"How did you-"

"The boy.... where did you find him?" His voice was cold, completely different from the polite boy Amma saw a few moments ago. The look in his eyes sent shivers down their spine.

"I.. he was... Why should I answer you?" Mrs. Hamish raised her chin looking at Dominic in a dominating manner, or so she thought.

"Where?" His voice was calm but it only made the both of them more afraid.

"M....mid-East."
