Kapitel 225: Hiding

The Chen Village wasn't far, but because Xue Dagui walked slowly and hummed a tune as he walked, it took him quite a while to reach the village.

Seeing that Chen Village was right in front of him, Xue Dagui was about to walk over, but suddenly, Chen Laoba and Zhang Meili came out of the village, tugging at each other.

Xue Yan immediately squinted her eyes and said to Jiang Yue in a low voice, "That's Chen Laoba."

Jiang Yue didn't know Chen Laoba before, but she knew Zhang Meili. When she saw Zhang Meili walking out of the Chen Village with a particularly strong and dark man, she guessed that this was Chen Laoba.

Hearing Xue Yan's words, she nodded. Then, she pulled Xue Yan along to hide better so that no one would see them.

"We should have guessed it right." Jiang Yue also lowered her voice. 

That Xue Zhuzi really didn't look like Xue Dagui's biological son, but his eldest aunt's father.
