What were the nobles doing all these years?

That was a thought that was inside every commoners' head right now.

And honestly, they were right. The nobles didn't have the commoners' best interest in their minds. Most of what they focused on was power and wealth. Victarine was and is a part of this struggle so of course she understood it all.

This meeting, how quickly it became a priority and how seriously every noble was taking it… it was only because Savine was accumulating power and support for herself in Fest. Any other problem, there would have to be countless more morning meets until the topic even gets chosen for the afternoon meet, and even then, at least half the nobles would be trying to sabotage the meeting, trying their best to make the meeting as unproductive as possible.

Today, there was none of that. Everyone was present and focused.

'Probably I'm the only one trying to ruin this meeting…'
