Kapitel 218: Blood

Victarine wasn't an impatient person. She sat alongside her, observing the surroundings. 

Inside the brewery, aside from the person manning it, there were five people. Four sat at one table – thin, sharp-featured men – drinking together, while occasionally sending glances towards Victarine. They didn't bother to hide their lecherous eyes. Though the mask covered both their faced, it wasn't that hard to see that they were women. 

Did Victarine fear them? No. She was a mage. A thought from her was enough to deal with these four men. And the Sovereign made sure to drill into her the strength necessary to cast her spells without being too flustered to do so.

As for the other patron, it was a drunkard sleeping on the chair. The brewery's owner clearly noticed him, but did not do anything to get him out.

Instead, he approached Savine and Victarine.

"If ya ain't getting anything, get out."
