Kapitel 74: Elena Is Venting Her Heart Out

Elena replied in a barely audible voice. "I am happy."

"Good."

"You should fix the roof, by the way," she said again.

"I will."

Xavier felt his heart beating much slower than before. He, too, felt happy. He put down the cup and lay down beside Elena. He looked at the ceiling and tried to find the dragon she was talking about. There was none.

What a lucky girl, he thought. He had tried this pill many times in the past and he saw wonderful things but he never saw any dragons. Wouldn't it be amazing if he did?

Xavier closed his eyes and smiled to himself when he remembered his first time using this pill. He was at the lowest point of his life. Simon gave it to him because Xavier was on the brink of insanity. He was grieving and at the same time filled with so much hatred and anger.
