Kapitel 42: Addictive even in small doses

When Vice had kissed him, Ivo hadn't noticed much besides the softness of his lips and the heat of his tongue. A pleasant sensation that left a warm aftertaste.

Now, with Davi's body crowding him against the wall, his fingers still buried in his hair, Ivo could feel every rough brick scratch against his back, the corded tension of Davi's abdomen where it met his bare skin, even through the bandages. The slick sounds of their tongues moving together popped in his ears like the bubbles on a fizzy drink, making him shiver all over even though he'd never felt warmer.

Davi's eyes were closed, but Ivo's kept flickering open, and so he saw the furrow notched between Davi's dark eyebrows. Like the kiss, it deepened the longer they touched, as if Davi couldn't figure out why he hadn't put a stop to it yet.
