Finally, they had their slightly awkward lunch and were on their way to wherever he was taking her. Honestly, she did not know how she had gone through the meal without losing control.
Honestly, after their sizzling moment at the library, she thought her body would never cool down. Luckily, her ex-boss had pulled away. What happened?
"Usually, the tourist would hike through the woods because it is the shortest path toward our destination. But with your condition, we had to take the longer route and drive." He explained, breaking into her silent reverie.
"Don't worry. It will just be a quarter an hour drive." Liam assumed that her silence had something to do with their trip. But her mind was elsewhere.
"Ok." Luisa finally answered him while he continued driving to the rough, slightly bumpy road. Then, they fell again into silence, unable to think of any safe topic to discuss.
Thanks so much. Another year has passed and hopefully, the new year will be brighter for us all.
It was not an easy journey for me as a writer who is trying to make this a part-time career. But somehow with your support, I am still managing it just fine. Thank you so much for continuing to inspire me.
I wish I can make this full time but caring for my kids would always be my priority. So, thank you still for being patient with me, especially with my chapters and updates.
I wish you all a Happy New Year.
