Rosie was completely speechless. She was grateful to have sent back the guards beforehand. She turned towards the clinic door and peeked outside. It didn't seem like the guards would bring in another patient, so Rosie locked the clinic door from the inside.

"Mr. Noah, please sit down for a moment. Let me explain everything," said Rosie, who didn't want this to become a misunderstanding and put herself and Aslan in a dangerous situation.

Aslan let go of Noah's hand and sat down in the chair his wife was occupying earlier. As Rosie came closer, he grabbed her by the waist and placed her on his lap.
