Kapitel 80: Chapter 80 - THE SUDDEN CONFESSION

"What happened?" Becca asked when the car suddenly stopped.

 Tommy tried several times to start the car but it didn't turn on. "I think something happened to the engine. Let me check first. Wait here." He got out and started to open the front hood of the car engine.

 Becca looked in all directions. It was unusual for Tommy's car to break down after work was finished. And this is the first time for them.

 Luckily the car broke down in the never-ending crowds of New York. Becca pulled her coat close, and she got out of the car. She accompanied Tommy by his side, making Tommy scold her a little.

 "I told you to wait inside, Rebecca," Tommy said.

 "I'm hungry. How about I go to the tavern?" Becca asked, pointing to the tavern on the side not far from where the car broke down.

 Tommy looked at that place with a chuckle. "Stay under my control. I don't want anything to happen to you."

 "Okay. I'll sit outside and watch you."
