Kapitel 12: Chapter 12 - BREATHE...

Back at her desk, suddenly Tommy was standing near her desk. Her step slowed when she saw Tommy's face suddenly stiffened. And they stared at each other for a while.

"What?" Becca asked because she was impatient and wanted to know what was causing Tommy's face to look so bad.

"Come to the meeting room now. I have important things to convey. Not only us, but every division representative is also there," said Tommy. He took the first step, leaving Becca.

Quickly and swiftly, Becca reached for her important equipment to bring to the meeting room. She knew the signs of seriousness on Tommy's face when it came to working were no joke.

There was something Becca liked about Tommy. That was seeing how serious Tommy was about the company he founded himself. He was so responsible if there were mistakes or shortcomings in his company. And according to Becca, the seriousness on Tommy's face was really sexy.

Tommy's company was a company engaged in advertising. Apparently, the model that had been prepared by the sales marketing division suddenly fell ill which required the model to be hospitalized. While one model was experiencing a sad incident that decides to cancel their collaboration.

Tommy felt dizzy because tomorrow was the day the commercial was shot. The problem was, who will replace the two models?

"Any suggestion?" asked Tommy while looking at his employees.

"Boss, if I may suggest, how about you and Becca who replaces the model? We lost two models. Male and female models. We think you and Becca are very well-proportioned to be models," said Cherry, part of the sales marketing division.

The idea suddenly slipped out of her lips while the others finally nodded as they saw the obvious compatibility between him and Becca.

Becca immediately froze in shock at the idea. She never thought that one of Tommy's employees would dare to throw questions and ideas like that.

She swallowed hard and looked at Tommy who was staring at her for a moment. Tommy looked equally surprised and she was sure that Tommy would choose to refuse.

"What about the others? Don't just nod your head. I need a real voice so Rebecca and I can hear clearly," Tommy asked seriously.

"Yes."

Several words of approval had been heard. And Tommy immediately felt relieved. This would be an opportunity for him to show that he wanted Becca back to him.

"Alright. Rebecca and I will be the models for the advertisement. Immediately prepare what needs to be prepared. The meeting is over. Thank you for your participation and votes," said Tommy, disbanding the meeting.

When everyone left the meeting room, Becca was still sitting in her chair. She usually records the course of a meeting, now she didn't need to record it because everything was recorded in his brain.

"We have no choice, Rebecca," said Tommy, who was still waiting for her there, and knowing what Becca thought.

"We always have a choice. You just haven't tried to find a replacement yet!"

"Oh, Rebecca ... tomorrow is the schedule for that commercial, you know. We have no time. After all, you and I have something close to those professional models."

"Whatever!" Becca stood up and quickly left the room, leaving Tommy alone.

Between happy and annoyed, she was difficult to express. She was happy because she could be a model for Tommy's company advertisement with his ex-boyfriend, who was also the owner of the company where she worked. But she was also annoyed that without her consent, Tommy had even accepted the idea.

"Come on, let's go home," Tommy said to Becca.

Becca looked at her watch and then her eyebrow shot up. "Are you crazy? It's not even office hours yet. Besides, I'm not going home with you. If you want to go home, go alone."

She refocused on her monitor and resumed her work which had been delayed for a few minutes because of Tommy.

"Shouldn't we prepare ourselves for tomorrow's commercial, Rebecca?" asked Tommy.

"Just you. I don't need to. I have an appointment with someone after this anyway."

"With who?"

Becca paused her activity and looked at Tommy with a seductive but fierce look. "What do you care, Tom?"

"You're not around another man, are you?" asked Tommy. His face looked stiff with a voice that was so domineering. Becca knew that Tommy was on the verge of jealousy.

She started to smile and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Are you feeling jealous, Sir Tommy?" Her face was so close to Tommy's, that it made her ex-boyfriend flutter. Moreover, Tommy suddenly focused on Becca's lips, which he really wanted to kiss right away.

But unfortunately, Tommy chose to return to his room. He chose not to leave the office until Becca was done with work. Because he wanted to know who Becca had an appointment with.

Every time Becca managed to make Tommy look annoyed and jealous, she always sighed. Because she herself was very afraid that she would not be able to make her jealous. But several times she did it, she always succeeded. And at the end of each action, only then did her heart pound until her breath hitched.

"You have no idea how much it hurts to be cheated on by you, Tom. You have to see a change in me that you'll regret for the rest of your life," she hissed.

After she felt better enough, Becca went to the pantry and made milk coffee. Her hands trembled suddenly. And suddenly her asthma flared up. She immediately fell, making the coffee cup fall and shatter.

The first person who came quickly was Tommy because he had CCTV access in his room and could monitor Becca. His employees who heard that came to the pantry and were shocked.

He brought Becca to his office room with the spectacle of his employees. And Tommy immediately squirted the inhaler into Becca's mouth.

"Breathe, Rebecca. Breathe..." Tommy said, panicking. He reflexively kissed Becca's forehead. He was so scared when he found out that his ex-girlfriend's asthma had relapsed.
