The morning came quickly for all of them and she was getting dressed when she heard a knock on her door. She knew who it was. She had already taken in her scent from the moment she left her room. She opened the door and turned 

"Hey, good morning. How'd you sleep?" She asked

"Fine actually. I didn't sleep at all. What's going on?" Beth asked her

"Nothing. I just have some errands to run" she said. "You look like you're headed somewhere. Let's go together"

"I can't, Karen. Someone out there is killing people that have any for of connection to me and I am not ready to lose anyone else"

"Then let Yale go with you. I can't let you go out on your own" Karen said

"Yale is busy"

"I'm not actually" they heard him say

She looked and he was standing beside the door.

"I don't need an escort" she said as she walked out 

"He is not an escort. He is going to accompany you to wherever you're going" Karen said, following
