This is a heaven-sent opportunity for me to stop being a cage in a bird. I can break it and become a free man. I have waited for this chance for years. Sibley, I must hold it now that it is in my hand's reach. Not to mention, the old hags may try to deal with me since they have many people to pin the blame on. If I don't run away tonight, I am afraid my days will be limited."

"What about me then?"

"Won't you accompany me?"

"I will."

Marty sold the palace, picked up whatever valuable thing he could, and secretly ran away into the dark with his study companion, abandoning his identity as a prince and starting a new life as a farmer in a well-known village.
