The Lynch Kingdom had suffered catastrophic casualties, losing over a third of its Legends, almost 70% of its Sky Masters and Sky Lords, and 99% of its foot soldiers. Normally, such casualties would make any force consider the invasion a lost cause, yet the eyes of Grand Lich Morkon were full of resolution as if he was ready to sacrifice everything as long as they managed to conquer Trinity Island.

'There is something I am not seeing,' Cain thought, unable to shake the feeling that there was something he didn't know. The resolve behind Grand Lich Morkon and the rest of the Legends simply did not make sense. With such heavy losses, how did they expect to harness the resources of Trinity Island and still keep control over Lynch Island?
