Kapitel 31: FAREWELL

"Alpha Ronan is dead."

Dad had blood shot eyes and he and mom held on to each other. They looked heartbroken. I stared at them in shock, they had returned an hour ago, and had been cooped up in dad's office since then.

All of a sudden we got a general link for everyone to meet them in the hall, they had an announcement to make, and I guess this was it.

"He was murdered." mom continued. My heart hammered in my chest and for once mine wasn't the only one beating fast. Sobs and wails surrounded me. I stood there shocked.

Murdered? Who would do this? And why? All these years Alpha Ronan has been an immovable presence, he stayed strong through the worst years of his life, he was reliable, he was more than an alpha to me, he was like my grandfather.Tears slid down my cheek as I stood pin straight with my back tall.

"Who did it?" My voice carried above, the shocked mourners, sobs and wails. "Who killed him and how?"
