　　I sat in the clinic nervous. What had I done? I had said too many things I couldn't take back. The moon doctor was doing all he could to save my father's life. I watched as beads of sweat covered his forehead, Desiree must have told him all their lives depended on it. I did not mean it that way. I honestly didn't. I was just afraid that I would lose the only parent I had, and Margret did not have such a good record either. I only had issues with her, not the Moons, but Desiree had taken it personally, and now I did not know how I would take it all back. 

　　"He has some silver in his system." The doctor linked me not wanting to say it out. Desiree must have told him to do that too.

　　I quickly linked Kyle to check every drinkable and edible in my father's room. I wanted them tested for silver.

　　"Do you think he would get well?"I asked the doctor, and he paused to answer.
