Kapitel 144: Brewing Storm From The Past To The Present

Standing before a nameless tombstone, a crestfallen man stood with his head bowed down. Tears fell from his swollen solemn eyes as he let go of the pent-up emotions that he was enduring ever since he learned about the premonition.

The sight of the grave that was befitting for a criminal made his heart clench all the more.

"Your Majesty, I have yet to meet the child but I heard from that man that she has the sacred beast." His voice wavered as he reported to the emperor whom he once served with all of his heart only to fail during the last minute of his job. With a quivering voice, he continued—anguish dripped from every word he spewed. "Thank you for bringing her to us, Your Majesty."
