"And knowing that someday, Maya Kagura's real identity would be leaked in some way, she decided to confess it to me right after Simone's performance.

"She also confessed that her job here is more of a side job, and her stint as a voice actress is her real gig. She even set up her recording booth for remote recordings, I may add!"

"That's incredible," I react. "As someone who also uses their voice for a living, it's very important not to over-strain themselves."

"Yes, yes, it's a given."

"Good evening, everyone. This is day 2 of the Waitress Showcase.

"Now before we begin, tonight's performer has decided to confess to people close to her that she goes by the stage name Maya Kagura. It is because she wanted to keep her other career a closely-guarded secret.
