Kapitel 216: Reunited (2)

"So, you have been adopted by someone and right now you are coming back to get your… stuff?" One of the caretakers asked as she looked at the locked necklace that Blake wore on his neck.

Technically, the only stuff that really belonged to him was the necklace as not even the clothes that he wore before belonged to him. But seeing the current clothes Blake was currently wearing, the caretakers assumed that Blake would not be needing any of his old clothes that might as well be considered to be rags compared to his current clothing.

"Yes," Blake replied shortly without giving any more explanations or context.

"And that's…?"

"That is my pet." Blake quickly cut the caretakers off as they saw a monkey standing right beside Blake's feet.
