The loud booming explosion was the start of it all.

Right after the first explosion sounded, more and more followed suit, only slightly less powerful than the initial explosion.

The explosions that were heard from his surroundings, albeit he wasn't able to see them, Blake was certain that those explosions weren't only loud, but also powerful, evident from the shakes and tremors that he felt on his body right after each explosion sounded on his ears.

And also, the screams of panic and terror that the mass of humanoid demons was releasing.

Not only the explosions were present, but as more of them happened, Blake felt the heatwave that washed over him get stronger and stronger, stinging his face and causing him to want to cover his whole face with the dark earth armor.
