Kapitel 63: The Discussion

Three men and one woman were sitting at the round table. Khalid was sitting on one of the corners and his expression wasn't good. It was time for him to get another dose of pain reliever. He was about to suffer heightened pain so was he struggling.

Ignoring all others, I reached him and acted to hug him. From those sitting positions, it would look as if I was really hugging but actually, I was covering with my cloth and slipping a pill in his mouth.

I had noticed their sharp gaze was on me but ignored it.

"Boss, who made you in this situation? Are you fine? Can't you fight back then to stay in this situation? Are there people stronger than you here? Boss, stay alive." I overacted the situation.

"I am fine Rose, don't worry. Help me to stand up." Khalid joined in my act. I looked at him raising my eyebrow but he pleaded with his eyes.
