The battle between the Martial Artists of the Kandrian Empire and the first wave of beasts continued on for quite some time as the former slayed the latter in large numbers. Rui's contributions to the Sage-level front allowed the Sages to experience significantly less pressure, which reduced the casualty rates of all Kandrian forces.

One thing that the Martial Artists found a little difficult to adjust to was taking a stamina-conservative approach to ensure that they had as much lasting power as possible. Battles between martial artists were more common among them, and certainly, most of them had never experienced a battle quite like the one that they were beset with.

Nonetheless, out of all powerhouses in the world, the Kandrian Empire dealt with the first wave of the beast tide the best.
