Kapitel 62: 62. Bleak life

Rosie woke up the next morning feeling the warm ray of the sun that peeked through the open curtains of the window on her face. Opening her eyes, she looked around the room and sporting a man sitting on the couch. His mind went blank not knowing they were someone in her bedroom. Alarmed, she stood up abruptly thinking he was there to harm her.

"Good morning, mate," Raven said, standing up and walking towards her.

Hearing the word 'mate', the memories of the night came back to her and she looked at him wide-eyed. She thought it was a dream which she had but as it turns out, none of them were. She didn't doubt the part where her father came home and nothing changed from what he always did but she doubted where he has gone to jail. While the rest of it, she had considered a dream.
