"Please, don't say something like that. King father is hale and healthy. If someone else were to hear what you said, they might take your words as treason." Serena said to remind and at the same time, to test the waters.

"I was just saying. Besides, with the rules of succession, who else would be the queen if not you?" Christopher replied. As if he was just saying something about the weather.
