Kapitel 23: What Is Love?

It was dark outside when The Emperor finally came back to his palace after making sure that everything was going just the way he wants in the villages of Edessa kingdom.

His majesty got off the horse and went inside the palace with his escorts as the guards there immediately rushed to take the Emperor's horse to the stable.

"You both can leave." Said the Emperor to his escorts to go back to their chambers as they bowed in respect and left while Octavius sighed and stayed there in the corridors alone for some time.

His hands moved to take off the scarf of his face and head " That guy." He whispered while slowly walking to his chamber and thinking of that strange eye contact that he had with Magnus earlier.

A sarcastic chuckle came out of his mouth as he still can't believe that someone dared to hold eye contact with him.
