Gao Guang now wanted the enemy to attack, but the enemy simply wouldn't oblige. They had retreated again.
It was a bit frustrating. To say that Gao Guang was like a child with a new toy might be an exaggeration, but he genuinely wanted to test if his shooting had suddenly improved.
To say it had improved wasn't quite right; Gao Guang's rifle shooting had always been accurate. He could hit the bullseye shooting at targets, but when it came to shooting people, he just couldn't manage it.
Gao Guang really wanted to get a feel for shooting people with his rifle and solidify that feeling, but without a target, he was afraid he would lose it.
No matter how much he called out for a target, nobody came. Gao Guang couldn't take it any longer and murmured quietly, "No, I have to go to the second floor and find a target to try."
The second floor was dangerous, but the view was good, and he was sure to find an enemy to shoot at.
"I'll go too, I'll go too."
