Kapitel 62: Chapter 62 Tien vs Yamcha
"Everyone sorry to keep you waiting for so long." the announcer appears after confirming the matches as we walked onto the stage.
"The 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai will now begin. Out of a staggering 182 skilled martial artists, only 8 have passed the preliminary rounds. Those 8 will battle in a tournament format. Who will be the champion and wins the prize money of 500000 Zeni. Now let the match begin."
"Look there he is," Bulma said.
"Here he comes" oolong also said.
"Yamcha sama." paur cheered.
The two contestants walked onto the stage.
"That's a relief. Now I don't have to hear your trash talk after this." Yamcha said.
"I agree dead man can't hear can they?" Tien replied.
"The battle between the shool of the turtle and the school of the crane. Now let us see who will come out on top."
"Incredible. The pupil of the turtle hermit and the crane hermit at the first match"
The audiences were shocked and excited.
"You will be out cold in no time," Yamcha said.
"Sounds fun" Tien replied.
"I am glad you think so too."
"Now for the first match. Begin" with the announcement both fighters took their battle stance.
"If you want to run now is your chance, " Yamcha said.
"Well let's see if you are all bark"
Tien replied.
Yamcha went in for a kick but Tien block it.
Tien then counter-attacks Yamcha by pocking at his vital points with his fingers.
Yamcha who still has not landed on the ground since when he took off to deliver a kick in the first place uses his hands to propel himself back to push him out of the attack range.
He was semi-successful as he was able to prevent some damage but still wasn't able to block everything as Tien landed a kick on his body.
Yamcha does a backflip as he tries to get some distance but Tien Jumped in for a superman punch.
Yamcha was quick enough to jump out of the way but Tien quickly followed him into the air where they have an aerial battle.
Both throw punches and kicks that hit each other in nonlethal places this time however Yamcha come out victorious in this exchange as he was able to knock down to the ground.
Tien was able to break his fall so he didn't suffer much damage.
"Here it goes. Wolf fang fist" Yamcha said as he goes in for his signature move.
However, Tien was able to block every hit like he have an extra hand or two.
"Haaaa" Tien landed a gut punch which make Yamcha falls down.
I have no other choice but to use my ace." Yamcha said as he started yelling out.
"KaaaaaaaaaMeeeeeeehaaaaaameeeeehaaa"
He launched a yellow Kamehameha toward Tien's direction.
"Kamehameha. What a joke? Why does everyone who knows ki can use it?" white said as he watched the fight near goku and kurullin.
He was not happy. As the first ki-based move that he learned, he didn't want anyone apart from a select few to use the attack as in his mind the more people use this attack the less valuable it becomes. Although that was the wrong way of thinking. He thought to himself that he should make a more powerful version only exclusive to him.
"I mean you are the one to talk. You didn't even study under the turtle hermit and you are complaining that one of his students can use his signature move" kurullin said.
"Yamcha is strong right," goku said.
"I can't wait to fight him" he added.
"Haaaaa" however tien somehow managed to deflect the attack back to Yamcha.
Yamcha who was already tired from performing the Kamehameha just barely managed to dodge the attack but this creates an opening for tien to land a blow to the stomach making Yamcha lose consciousness in the air.
Tien then uses this to break Yamcha's leg as he was lying unconscious on the ground.
"His leg is twisted, " oolong said.
"You give your friend this" White said as he throws something toward goku.
It was a senzu bean.
"If he eats it. He will recover immediately " White added.
"This is no time for your weird scams,"kurullin said as he didn't believe white.
"Don't worry I believe him?" goku said to kurullin as he runs towards Yamcha while holding the bean as the announcement was made
"Yamcha is unable to fight. Tien is the winner."
