Kapitel 39: Chapter 39 Easy battles
"I am 93! Goku what is your number" kurullin asked?
"I'm number 70. I think," goku replied.
"Noo. We are both in the same third block. I don't want to fight against you" kurullin said.
"Don't worry kurullin your number is far from mine so we don't have to worry " goku replied reassuring his friend.
"I will be glad if I don't have to fight you. I guess. I might end up losing in the first battle though. That won't matter. Master Roshi didn't teach us anything about fighting." kurullin said.
"It will be alright. We train ourselves just like Grandpa told us to."
Goku reassures his friend again to lift his morale.
"Ok, we will now begin the preliminary matches for the third block. 69 and 70 steps onto the stage "
The judge said as the fights officially began for the third block.
"Eh, this kid is seriously intending to compete?" one of the martial artists asked.
"69 got lucky " the boxer added. They were underestimating goku because of his size but goku proved them wrong by defeating his opponent in one hit.
"Number 70 is the winner " the judge announced.
"What just happened."
"What a clumsy bastard. He lost his balance and fell off."
"Ohh so that's what happened " the martial artist tries to downplay Goku's ability because they can not believe his power.
"Oh look another kid. Can he be lucky as the first kid though "
They also look down on kurullin but the truth is they didn't know that the strength that the kid possesses is more than enough to qualify for the actual tournament.
"Number 93 is the winner "
"Number 70 is the winner "
"Number 93 is the winner. He will continue to the Tenkaichi Budokai"
With every battle, goku and kurullin were able to discover that the training that was given by master roshi was more than enough to defeat all of their opposition.
"Great job. You make it to the Budokai" Yamcha dropped by to congratulate goku for his overwhelming victory.
"Eh who are you," goku asked.
"It's me The wolf fang fist," he said.
"Ah Yamcha! Long time no see" goku hugged his friend.
"Your hair was different so I didn't recognize you" goku explained.
"Bluma told me to cut my hair because it's too long for the city. But man I didn't expect to see you here" Yamcha said.
"We came to enter the Tenkaichi Budokai too. By the way, did you make it?" goku asked.
"Yeah. I am going to be in it too. I've been training specifically to compete here" Yamcha said.
"But I don't think I will stand a chance against you. Goku. " Yamcha said while laughing.
"Where are bulma and oolong? Are they here too?" goku asked.
"Yeah. But she still didn't let me talk to her. She was really angry that I ditch her to go on training but I've talked with oolong just a while ago. It seems he is also entering this tournament too. But I've not seen him yet" Yamcha said.
"He?" goku asked.
