Kapitel 242: His One and Only Love

Cynthia couldn't believe her ears. His words sounded wrong on so many levels, but his straight face that he delivered his wrong words with was what upset her the most.

"Punish me?" She squeaked.

"Yes," he answered shamelessly.

She bit her tongue that was about to blame him for even considering punishing her while she was pregnant with his child, it would've sounded very hypocrite after the lecture she just gave him about not using her pregnancy as a justification to all the sulking around.

"What did you say?" She perfectly heard him the first time around and then heard him confirming her question, but she was trying to give him one last chance to change what he had said. Otherwise, she'd be truly surprised by the man she thought she knew like the back of her hand.
