By the end of that January, Cynthia was able to walk without aid at all. And that only made everyone around her all the more anxious.

"Enough of that already!" Cynthia yelled gingerly since John was not that far away from her.

Gloria, Mrs. Edinburgh, and George flinched back.

She took a deep calming breath and her features softened, "Gloria…I love having you so much, but Robert already moved back to your estate, and I really don't think you guys should stay separated like that, I know how much you miss each other!"

Gloria's lips parted for two seconds before she sealed them again.

Cynthia looked at her nanny, "Oh, nanny…" She didn't know where to begin, her old inclinations to give her nanny a hard time were kicking in hard, "...Would you like me to jump ropes for you to be convinced that I'm really okay?"

Mrs. Edinburgh gasped then narrowed her eyes at Cynthia in disapproval.
