Kapitel 170: A Different Kind of Motherhood

It was Monday evening when Cynthia was back in front of her nanny's closed door. She stood there, getting herself ready for what she was about to do.

Giving her nanny back the lease to her family house was a dream coming true for Cynthia.

The day seemed endless, and it had many ups and downs, but the highlight of it was – without a doubt – how Cynthia was finally able to reap the fruit of her one-year patience. She was over cloud nine with joy. And though she felt guilty at times for not telling her nanny what had been happening around her, it felt really good now to just hand over the release without all the angst that Cynthia had to go through.

Cynthia used Mrs. Edinburgh's way of knocking on her door each time she went to see her, it was their way of letting one another know who the other person was before even seeing them.
