Back at the Third Elder's courtyard.
Adriel was looking at the crystal ball with a satisfied smile on his face.
Although this crystal ball could be considered a low-level lord-ranked artifact, the content in this crystal ball was what he currently needed to fulfill the system newbie mission unfortunately it cost him a hand and a leg.

Fan Linxu narrowed her eyes upon hearing his reply and indifferently said, "what's the so-called project about?" she was a bit resentful at him acting all mysterious.
Adriel smiled in return but he dodged the question, what he was about to do was a bigger matter than using Midas Touch to awaken beast master talent, some ancient sects and families had secret methods to do it if they were willing to pay a price so it didn't matter if anyone found out later on, but he was sure no one at least in the whole of the entire great Yan continent could do what he was about to do and might cause an uproar when it is exposed in the future.

Adriel, who was already at the four stopped and turned to look at her, " thanks again for the meal, better prepare something like that for me tomorrow so I can be more effective in using the Midas touch blessing hehe" He teased in a mischievous manner before opening the backdoor and stepping out.
Watching Adriel back slowly moving father away from her, the original indifferent expression on Fan Linxu's face warped completely and turned into a deep frown, and her eyes flashed a cold light, "what the hell is that little devil hiding from me" she said in a slightly sinister voice, if Adriel turned back to look at her, he would be shocked to the extreme by her tone.
He would have wondered if this was a sister that always look cold and indifferent all the time or on of those devilish cultivator with peerless looks and ruthless hearts.

Then the hologram of a illusionary figure dressed in all black and a cloak covered the figure's face, he was skinny and his hands were pale, he exuded an eerie vibe that could cause the atmosphere of anywhere he was to turn gloomy.
"What do you want, didn't I tell you not to just pop up without warning and what if someone heard you" Fan Linxu's eyes narrowed as he coldly berated the illusionary figure, she didn't maintain her usual cold demeanor instead he looked like a fiery-tempered lady that could burst out in anger anytime.
The mysterious figure sneered in reply to her words, "Kekeke, how can a tiny martial realm brat discover me unless I want him to, and little Skylar is that how you talk to your...."
Their conversation continued without anybody noticing.

At the other side of the third elder's peak, Adriel arrived before a hidden cave filled with extremely dense spiritual energy.
He walked in with slow footsteps as he observe the entire cave, the inside of the cave was about 100 cubic meters and several inscriptions were inscribed on the walls such as soundproof inscriptions, mind soothing inscriptions, and the like.
