Kapitel 59: Chapter 58: Kumogakure
The group was quickly able to make it back to the village, with Orochimau and Jiraiya going with Hiruzen to the hospital while Mito and Tsunade quickly went to the Hokage's office to report what happened on the mission to Tobirama.
Tsunade gave all the information to her Grandpa, though she changed the part about her being stabbed in the heart into her being stabbed in the lung before her healing factor activated.
That didn't seem to ease the anger that both Mito and Tobirama felt as they both erupted into anger.
"Those bastards from Kumo dare!! I'll summon that bastard from the Pure Lands just to torture his soul!" Tobirama yelled.
"It seems it's time for me to intervene in the war, I'll annihilate those fools!!" Mito said as dense red chakra appeared and cracked the floor beneath her.
Tsunade had to stop telling the story and calm down both of her grandparents from diving straight into the battlefield.
"Is that all Tsuna? Then you can return to the hospital to check on Hiruzen. Make sure you also get a check up while you're there." Tobirama said.
Tsunade then left the office, leaving Tobirama and Mito as the only two who remained there.
"Is the situation that bad?" Mito asked after she was sure that Tsunade had left after she quickly sensed he location.
"The Second Raikage seemed to be trying to deescalate the war, but the Gold and Silver Brothers are constantly harassing our troops, making us respond in kind. Not to mention that this attack on our civilians could have been especially dangerous if it had caused internal strife in the country. Even I wouldn't be able to explain it to the Daimyo." Tobirama answered with a sigh.
"Perhaps I'll need to show those fools who the actual Kyubi Jinchuriki is." Mito answered with a smile, causing Tobirama to do the same.
She then left the room as well, leaving only Tobirama who once again looked over the village as he thought
'Perhaps the only way to end the war is to do that.'

Kumogakure
Sitting in front of A was the current Raikage, as well as the man who invented the Black Lightning Technique and Lightning Chakra Cloak.
He listened to his successors reports about the results of the infiltration plan that was proposed by the Gold and Silver Brothers, as well as the strength of the Kyubi Jinchuriki, causing him to frown.
"I knew that Mito was a powerful shinobi, but to be able to defeat you with only two seals as well as being able to use the Kyubi's power so easily, it seems I'll need to wind down the war earlier than I expected to prevent us from taking too many losses."
A immediately reacted as he rubbed the part where th seal was while he said "Are you sure Lord Raikage? Many of the shinobi are keen on the war and even the Daimyo supports it. Doing this could greatly ruin your great rein and even force you to abdicate. Do you really want to end the war?"
The Raikage simply stared at A for a moment before he spoke "Whether it me my position or my life, if it means I can protect this village, then I will do the best I can to conserve as much power I can. This won't be the last war we fight in this new era, and even if I'm not around to see it, I expect you to protect the interest of the village, no matter the cost."
The Raikage then wrote something down before he called one of his ANBU agents.
"Send this message to Konoha immediately, let no one know about it." he ordered the shinobi as he took off.
A then stood up to leave, but he said one last thing before he finally spoke "I hope that I can one day make the same choice as you Lord Raikage, and I will ensure I live up to the title."
The Raikage simply smiled at that as A completely left the room.
