Kapitel 261: Predator and Prey

Coal black pits stared into glowing bionic eyes, and for a moment the Zarwing looked confused. It had gotten quite used to hunting humans by this time, but he couldn't smell the same pheromones on Kevin.

The cyborg smelt of gunpowder and metal—something it had learned to avoid after flying too close to the Oakley Military base and being nearly shot down by its massive Quad AA Cannon.

Kevin held his ground, his foot still squeezing the side view mirror under it. Keeping the hybrid in his sights, he slowly transferred his weight to the other leg and used his neural interface to activate his Advanced Analyzer without uttering a single word. 

The lenses on his bionic eyes zoomed in on the Zarwing and separated its silhouette from the brickwork and concrete background. Within a few seconds, all the information linked to the hybrid's physical features was displayed on his HUD.
