None of the Raiders would have backed down if it was a Resistance fighter standing on the other side, but they knew things were different with Kevin. The cyborg's tales of violence and bloodshed had spread across their ranks like wildfire after the incident at the Reincorp facility. Though they didn't want to admit it, they weren't too keen on going toe-to-toe with a killer like him.

"Should we just hand her over?" the youngest in the group whimpered.

"Are you outta your mind?" the leader of the group reprimanded. "She is our ticket out of here. If we let her go, that crazy cyborg ain't gonna spare us."

"But he said—"

"Forget what he said!" the older Raider shouted, pulling the girl up by her hair. "That cyborg is a trained killer. You know what he did to our brothers in the Dark District. He doesn't have any conscience or sense of guilt. He was designed to kill the enemies of Subcity. That's his only purpose!"
