Kapitel 137: Squirming in the dark

The Technorians had precious little experience dealing with mutants since there were no such creatures on this side of the world. The Scrappers were no exception. They had confronted many types of machines over the last few months while scavenging the surface for resources, but they had never encountered a living, breathing abomination from Psionis.

Though machines always posed a bigger threat due to their advanced weaponry and gadgets, they could be outsmarted and outmaneuvered in the open because they were predictable enemies. Things were a lot different with a mutant because it was a lot more reliant on its instincts. 

Cairo had hoped to put the abomination down by blasting it with lasers, but at that time she had no idea that it could heal itself so rapidly.
