Kapitel 102: Guzman
Lazarus, one of the last safe underground shelters in Sorus had been compromised now. The survivors had managed to stay hidden for almost five months, up until this accursed day. This fallout shelter was supposed to be a secure location where they could sleep in peace without having to worry about being attacked by robots and drones. But now its doors had been breached and its location exposed.
They had managed to repel the initial assault, but they knew the machines would soon be back in greater numbers. The news would have already reached the Prime Android by now.
It was clear that the machines were not interested in taking them alive. The attack choppers and Neutralizers had displayed killing intent. It seemed like the Prime was no longer interested in taking prisoners.
When things had quietened down, Kurt called up Guzman to know what was happening outside.
"Are the choppers gone? What the hell just happened?"

Ashdenroth The survivors living in Lazarus are mostly civilians who do not have any combat experience. However, each family has at least one member who is a surface explorer.
The surface explorers are divided into two categories:
1. Scrappers: Those who go deep behind enemy lines to obtain essential supplies. While they prefer remaining airborne for the most part, they spend a considerable amount of time on the ground, scavenging for items.
2. Scouts: They mostly monitor enemy activity from the air and try to avoid combat. They keep track of robot and drone movements and gather intelligence.
