Chloe POV

I ran from the place but I couldn't hold my tears. Last night I had developed some soft corner for the man but now it was destroyed completely. My heart was never in so much mess before but only a single person made me feel this way.

I couldn't even express how am I feeling when that person said Mr King beat his own flesh till he couldn't breathe. Just how could he be? Isn't he his son too then why is there so much partiality between them? Why?

My feet kept on running until I saw the person again in the parking lot.

"Excuse me!!" I could no longer control my breath.

"Yes?" He turned toward me.

"Where is he?" I m still trying to slow down

"Who?" he asked me again.

"Aa - Aaron where is he?" I asked.

"I don't know", he said and was about to leave when I held his hand.

"Please stoppppp"

"Stop, therefore"

I kept on holding his hand while my entire body shivered the way I ran from the upper floor.
