Kapitel 52: Foggy Memory

Kameron POV ...

The day had passed and I had not left my house once. My father had come to see me and my mother had stopped by to give me food. I had sent the servants home. I didn't want people in my space right now especially when I was in the current state was in.

Not only was I wounded physically but emotionally, I was not okay. Callie had left me with a deep gashing wound and I didn't know where to begin to heal myself.

I thought back to my conversation with Rex.

He was right. A part of me, a small part, was finding it hard to believe that Callie would actually hurt me in such a way. Not after the conversation we had in the healing center. Not when she had agreed to wait for me.

She knew I was choosing her and she was choosing me. We had agreed. I had given her my word. Why would she then turn around and date a man like Tim Fisher?
