"Aurora! Aurora!" I kneeled beside her and shouted, "Wake up!"
The siren Aurora's tightly shut eyes slowly opened. She looked around with her beautiful eyes and finally noticed me. The beautiful Queen of the Sirens showed me a sad smile. She wanted to raise her hand, but she could only move her fingers. Her breathing was extremely weak, and her face was ashen. The clock of life was already counting down for her.
"I forgive you!" she said softly.
"No! Don't die!" I held her hand tightly. "You can't give up on yourself like this!"
Damn it. She was going to die! Think of a way! My mind was a mess. The guilt I felt for Aurora in my previous life made me deeply remorseful. I thought that I could change something in this life, but I didn't expect the result not to be much better than in my previous life. On the contrary, I felt that my sins in this life were even deeper.
'Aurora, don't die!' I silently prayed.
