Kapitel 41: Chapter 041 Interlude 2

Ahhhh~ what a beautiful day. I got to send two damned souls to their own personal hell and Aki is as healthy as can be.
I watch her as she's enjoying some drinks with Scarlett, one of Aki's newest friends. But she seems like a little bit of a bad influence.
I hear a door open and Charles goes go see who it is. After a few minutes Jake, Michael's apostle come though the door looking quite tired. He greets everyone and sits down.
He then explained his entire day to everyone.
I must say I was quite shocked by what he said. It was like Michael was helping him, I'm going to have to talk to Michael about this.
Actually I don't think Michael would help Jake like that…
After Jake finished explaining Scarlett got angry about not being included. She would make a great apostle.
I started talking to Aki about it asking if she thinks Jake got help from Michael. Aki kept answering my questions which I was grateful for.

The party just finished and Aki went back home to sleep in her hotel. Whenever she goes to sleep I do my best to catch up on the work that I miss out on whenever I have to punish sinners or watch over Aki.
I start flipping through pages looking at humans and the sins they commit in their lives. And once their sins pass a certain threshold they put on a wanted list by one of the 7 Archangels.
As I read though the reports I hear a knock on the door. Not thinking anything of it I call them in. I look up to see the most beautiful and annoying Archangel and I scowl.
I ask him what he's doing here but it seems that he just want to party around. I let out a little sigh and put my work down and join him. I then ask him if Jake truly completed his mission by himself.
Michael gave a smile and pulled up his point of view for the day, and I have to say it was a little shocking. Michael only helped when Jake had to make some tough choices.
I was quite impressed with Jake and told Michael that he will be a great apostle for him. He lit up and showed a beautiful smile on his stupid face.
He finished showing the clip and we just talked about our apostles. And enjoyed the wine he brought.
He suddenly got up. "Thanks for having a drink with me Gabriel, hope to see you again soon, peace out." And left without letting me say anything.
W-what did he mean about seeing me again??? Siiiiggggghhhhhh son of a god.
I sit in my chair enjoying a little bit more of my break before Aki wakes up. I pull out my work and get right back into it.
The morning came quickly as I worked, time just flew by. I see Aki wake up and do her morning stretches and shake off her sleepiness.
She got ready and left to head towards the morgue. She entered the common room to see Jake cleaning the place and complimented him. Jake just gave her a goofy smile and carried on with the cleaning.
See watched him for a while then asked him gently if he wanted to go train. Jake was so excited he started to shake with excitement.
They went down stairs and enjoyed a really good sparring with Aki winning, it was close though.
Jake said something nice about appreciating her concern, it seemed Aki got a little embarrassed and ran away. Awwwwe she's so cute.
Aki went up stairs to find Scarlett sitting down working on some of her own paperwork. Jake came in with a towel around his neck and looked at Scarlett in surprise.
He nodded his head and also grabbed a bottle of water like the girls. And sat down then drank all of it in one go.
Scarlett started to tease him and Aki was teasing him to. Charles came to the rescue and everyone seemed to be having fun.
Aki then asked Jake a question and his eyes went a little wide and he said that he's going to kill the girl for no particular reason.
He got up and left afterwards looking a little unsettled. So I ask Aki to check up on him, but she seemed to notice it as well.
When she saw that Jake was on the floor struggling to breathe she quickly went to help him up. After he calm down, Aki understood what happened to him. I also knew, because I went through the same thing with Aki.
I still sometimes do when she has nightmares about it. I'm glad that she now has someone to relate to.
After Aki gave her advice Jake looked much better than he did and Aki left headed back toward the common room. I was curious why she didn't say with him a little longer so I decided to ask her. "Aki, if Jake was struggling with his death still why leave him be?"
"Because he needs his guardian Archangel right now." I look at her shocked.
"Hmmm, I guess you're right."
