Michael Archangel of Humility
I watch Jake shine, during his first mission. It may have been disturbing for Jake but he'll learn to roll with the punch's.
I get up from my seat and exit my office like space. I leave the pure white building and bring out all six of my wings and start flying towards a curtain place.
It's something humans call limbo, in-between, sometimes even nothingness. Well they all those work as names but I guess limbo is the most suitable. Or maybe even I should try and call it a courtroom, a place where people are judged…
I land and enter the building, then I start walking through the halls with a little joy in my step. It's the first person I actually get to send to hell myself in awhile. Gee golly it's great having an apostle again.
I open a unique style door and sit down in a chair and table I create with a wave of my hand.
And I wait for a while, then suddenly the room shines bright for a second and a man I know quite well stands there.
"Hello Anderson Turner! I'm Michael and I'll be helping you this fine day." I start things off with some light banter.
He looks around confused and checks his body for any abnormalities. After checking himself for what feels like the 10th time he finally looks at me. "So Michael was it? What am I doing here, shouldn't I be in heaven right now? I mean I do deserve it for helping so many people."
I couldn't help but laugh at the sheer amount of arrogance and that's coming from me. "We will get to that but first we have to go over a few things you did in life to really tell me if you deserve to go into heaven." He nods his head in understanding, and I nod mine too. I pull out a list that is actually quite long. "First offence, you killed a little girl because you couldn't share the spot light. Second offence, you killed a model because you thought that he was to ugly to be in the same magazine as you. Third offence you made two women fight to the death for a chance to let's say get intimate, when one girl one you killed the other because she got blood on her face. Most of these are basically the same, just killing others cause you thought yourself better."
Anderson then quickly interrupted me. "I can explain all of that. You need to understand something inside me was making me do those things I never truly wanted to kill anyone. I mean I didn't even have the time. So as you can see I'm faultless here." When he finished talking I look him straight in the eyes, and looked at the darkness swirling in them.
I let out a big sigh.
Then I glare at him and stop smiling the room immediately goes colder. "I can't accept that. I see the darkness inside your eyes, there no way in hell or heaven that you didn't want to kill. So everything you just said is a joke that even I won't laugh at." Anderson stands up from the chair and glares at me. But I activate bloodlust and Anderson loses feeling his legs and sits back down. "Now that you are listening let me finish. Final offence for a the overwhelming disregard of Humility. When you saw yourself something other than a weak frail human and killed anyone who told your different."
He looked at me shocked. "Wait… So I'm going to hell because I think that I'm better than everyone? That's not fair!!"
I slam my hands down. SMACK! "YOU are like everyone else. You are as ugly as every other human, and beautiful as every other human. Nothing about you is different to me. But if I did have to name a difference it's the disgusting look of your soul."
I calm myself back down by talking a few breathes. And put a smile back in my face but the room stays cold.
I look back towards Anderson and he stares into my eyes. He slowly turns pale in understanding. And starts to sweat and dry heave like he ran a 10km marathon without a single break.
"Oh would you look at that time to go, as for your punishment… Your body will look as ugly as your soul and you will have to walk through a maze of mirrors until you can escape." I nod my head thinking this is a fitting punishment for this narcissistic prick.
"I'm not ugly, I mean look at me I'm more gorgeous than even yo-." He pauses and drops to the ground clutching his chest.
Anderson starts to transform, like his whole body is being turned inside out. All of his hair begins to fall out and pieces of twisted rusted metal bursts out of his body. He now looks like someone throw him in a blender with a bunch of rusted nails.
After the transformation ended he pulls himself off the floor and being the most beautiful and helpful Archangel ever, I give him a mirror to let him see what he's become.
Anderson take one look and screams dropping the mirror. He starts to thrash and scream, so I open the door and push him into his own personal hell.
I waive goodbye and close the door. Wow it's been a while since I had to send someone to hell personally. I leave the room and head back to my office.

I open the door to my office and sit back down in my chair. Pulling up the live video of Jake and I whisper to myself. "Congratulations on your first mission."
