For a second, Ava was shocked as she stared at Nancy who was standing outside the door with a wide devilish grin.

How did she get past the security at the entrance? The security wasn't supposed to have allowed her to come up without calling Ava first to confirm if she wanted to see Nancy. She clearly remember Mason had told them not to grant Nancy access.
