Ava picked up her purse and she followed Mason they both got into one of his cars and he drove them to go get something to eat. It was a red sports car. Ava always wondered what it would feel like to be behind the wheel of such a powerful car. One day she would ask Mason to allow her to drive it. But first, she would need to learn how to drive. Perhaps she could ask him to teach her.
"So where is this restaurant that you are talking about?" Mason asked her.
"It's not too far from here," Ava said. She called out the address for Mason and he put it in his car GPS.
"This should be fun," he said.
When they got to the restaurant, they waited a while to get an available table.
"I didn't know so many people liked to eat by this time of the day," Mason said, his hands tucked in his pocket as he looked at the queue that was beginning to form behind them.
"Unlike you, some other people do take eating lunch seriously," Ava said.
