Kapitel 143: A surprise visit

"..." Human, human. A very familiar human. Cafe mango juice incident human. Gold sat on the floor with his eyes opened wide as he glanced at the human sitting on the swivel chair.

Maven's gaze landed on the cat who fell from his Archer's arm. He pushed himself up from the swivel chair and approached them, ''This cat...'' 

''Belongs to my wife.'' 

''...belongs to my girlfriend.''

Both Archer and Maven spoke up at the same time and their gazes snapped at each other. 

Archer walked towards the middle of the office and placed the cup of mango juice on his desk while Maven carefully observed Gold, having a hard time digesting it. 

Pets can look similar at times but this cat definitely looked ditto like the cat who clung to his arm for a whole day when Claire and he met for the second time in the cafe. 

''If you are done having fun, you can leave,'' Archer said calmly, leaning back on his office desk.
