Claire grabbed John's wrist and twisted it until...

The sound of the cracking of bones was heard. The gun in his hand landed on the ground with a thud. 

''Ahhhh...'' The man stumbled back, letting out an animalistic growl.

Despite getting his hand twisted, he tried to grab her with his other hand. She was his winning bet, He could not let her go.

Claire kicked him in his lower abdomen and he crashed to the floor, sweeping the floor to a few inches, coughing a mouthful of blood. 

Claire jumped above the man's body before she squatted and picked up the thick file from the floor. She cleaned the dust settled on it with the sleeve of her Chanel business suit and worshipped it with her gaze before hugging it, ''It's fine,'' she said, letting out a relieved sigh. 

Sensing the weird silence in the atmosphere, Claire finally shifted her attention from the file.
