Yasmin blinked as she tried to process what she had heard. Some of the relatives and even her mother had asked in various ways about her plans for a child. But Declan had never brought it up. It was shocking to hear him say he wanted a baby.

She thought he would understand her and give her time to get over the pain. It turned out that he had always wanted a baby but had never expressed this desire to her. He revealed his hidden wish due to his drunkenness.

It was more painful than ever.

She had suppressed her agony at the party, but she couldn't do so any longer. Her miscarriage was sore in her heart, and she blamed Declan for it.
