Kapitel 145: Chapter 144- The new threat letter

Angus returned home at the end of the day and strode to his room. The first thing he saw was a stack of envelopes on the side table. He shook his head and sighed as he removed his tie and unbuttoned his shirt.

He sat on the bed after taking a shower and changing into comfortable loungewear and began going through the pile of letters one by one. Some were from his insurance company, and some were invitations to parties he couldn't go to.

He threw them directly into the trash. His attention went to a red envelope with a thick wax seal. The lack of the sender's name made him shiver instantly. It reminded him of the threat letters from the blackmailer.

A cold sweat began to break out on his brow.

He had been living in peace as he thought the blackmailer had been killed. Who would send him a letter without a name? Could it be that the man in the dump yard that night was not him?
