They were taken to the inner parts of the base, to where their new house would be. It gave off a relatively exclusive feel because of the lack of people and noise.

It was just that because they just refurbished the area, a lot of the houses still needed some repairs. "Don't worry, your house is among the first batch to have been repaired and refurbished."

"Hmmm, thanks."

"Are you sure she's alright?" The guiding soldier asked, looking at the reddish but gorgeous woman in their arms in genuine concern.

The men held back their glares.

It was Kaize who answered him. "Yes, she just overused her powers a bit and needed some… recharging."

The soldier blinked, wondering why the words sounded a bit like innuendos but he was an innocent with almost no access to women in his job.

He shrugged in the end, and finally stopped in front of a house.

"This is it."
