"One year."

Raimon would be 12 years old in a few days.

Under the heavy rain falling like the tears of a God, Raimon lowered his hood and walked with quiet steps.

Entering the flower garden inside Cailleach Castle for a moment Raimon fell into old thoughts.

A year has passed since Raimon returned from Castle Blood.

During this period very chaotic events occurred within the Solar Empire.

On the day Raimon's grandfather successfully entered the rank of God, nothing was celebrated in the Duchy.

Duke Raion had no time to talk to Raimon, he only stayed a few weeks with Duchess Dalia, his mother, in his care.

During that time many doubts about his new family were slowly cleared up and thanks to that Raimon was able to avoid misunderstandings.

Raimon spent a few days ashamed to realize that it was not Duchess Dalia who was not concerned about his welfare. She was protecting him all this time.

Reineza was assigned as his caretaker at his mother's request which was not normal.

Normally, the first guardian of Flower's children does not exceed the level of 5 stars.

Raimon's grandfather, former Duke Balar left immediately after stabilizing his strength at God's rank and Duke Raion followed suit a few days later.

The entire year that Raimon was recuperating in Castle Cailleach at Eclipse's request was spent searching for information on the changes in the world over the last thousand years.

The only danger in ancient times were ancient beasts and monsters, but more than a hundred years ago. A dark dimensional plane began to try to break through the dimensional barrier to intrude into the blood world.

The ancient beasts began to go berserk for a time causing some Empires and many ancient Kingdoms to fall, the current Duchy Empire is one of the few that has remained since the misfortune of a monster called God Beast.

Upon investigating Raimon found much information within the library of Castle Cailleach.

Abyss

A title that represents an endless nightmare!

A place that brings despair to countless worlds!

A terrifying plane of countless fallen and evil races. Darkness, despair, terror, nightmares, and evil are synonymous with them and have spanned countless years of battle and destruction.

In the northern part of the Duchy of Flowers, an entrance to this place full of evil had been formed, about two generations ago the Red Keep was built to prevent the arrival of these evil beings.

Two Dukes had fallen on the front line and Raimon's grandmother had disappeared in one of the wars in which the ex-duke Balar participated where he was ambushed by a group of people belonging to a dark force.

This force was the same one that had attacked Raimon because at the moment when ex-duke Balar came out he had a terrifying expression. According to Leona who now served as his second guardian, this year the Solar Empire was not quiet.

The fury of the Duchy of Flowers was not small, many people died and some families in the Empire related to some cult were destroyed.

One year.

That time has already passed since Raimon started living at Cailleach Castle.

If you say it's short, it's short; if you say it's long, it's long.

But I can assure you.

This year Raimon has never left any happy memories.

Spending time studying noble etiquette, practicing with swords and studying were Raimon's main priorities. The rumor about Duchess Dalia being a Semi-God scared many people so the Duchy was very quiet considering that both former Duke Balar and Duke Raion were not present.

In another year the twins will come from the Castle of Blood.

Raimon was somewhat concerned about the abyss in particular.

After a mighty plane perished, it finally spread terror and despair on the Thunder Continent.

And the place where the abyss descends is the depths of the barren land in the north of Thunder Continent.

A place that bordered many places where the ancient Star Empire had fallen.

It is said that there are many Primordial and Blood Gods sealed for performing evil deeds on the continent apart from Beasts sleeping since ancient times in that place.

One of the reasons why the Solar Imperial family has never openly opposed the Flower family is that Raimon's family is the first northern defense of the Empire.

Before the pioneer army was swallowed by the first army of the abyss, to finally do everything possible to issue a warning to all extraordinary forces and beings on the continent.
